Myton Hospice – Presentation of a cheque from the Warwickshire RA Benevolent Fund.

Dear Companions, thanks to your charity, Charlotte Ingram, Director of Income Generation for Myton Hospice was pleased to receive a cheque for £7000.00 from The Provincial Grand Almoner E. Comp Rod Hinton on behalf of the Warwickshire Royal Arch Benevolent Fund.

This donation will buy modern computer equipment for four IT rooms at the Hospice which desperately need updating.

Like many organisations, through this time, Myton has relied increasingly on technology in order to arrange more virtual meetings and they need to improve their technology now to make these as effective as possible as they often experience connection problems which limit their ability to communicate as they need to.

All of their meetings are now being held virtually and this includes their clinical meetings where the medical, nursing and care teams assess the patient’s needs and ensure clear planning and pathways for each and everyone one of them.

With newer IT equipment they will soon be able to arranging far more virtual clinics, and also Counselling sessions with families through remote support meetings being held virtually.

Our support ensures the Hospices IT facilities can accommodate their needs now and in the future.

Companions your support and generosity to the Benevolent Fund has once more enabled us to maintain our charitable giving to a highly regarded organisation and worthy cause within our province of Warwickshire.
