Chapter of Rectitude No 502 Double Exaltation

The members of the Chapter of Rectitude No 502 and our visitors had a most enjoyable evening at our Convocation held on Thursday 2nd December 2021, when we welcomed two new members into the Chapter in a double exaltation ceremony.

Whilst it has been done in the Chapter before, it is quite a rare event and was brought about by the lack of masonic activity over the past 18 months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The candidates, Brothers Nathan Kemp and Stephen Sinclair, were proposed by our MEZ, E Comp Richard Orme, which made the ceremony extra special for him, especially as it was his last full ceremony in that office, as he will be installing his successor at our Installation Convocation on 17th February 2022.

The Chapter was well supported by a number of visitors, including E Comp John K Starley, the Second Provincial Grand Principal, who was well supported by a number of other Officers of the Provincial Grand Chapter, members of Composite Chapter No 5727, our sister Chapter, and other visitors totalling 37.

The ceremony was conducted admirably by all those companions who took part, especially after such a long break, and augurs well for the future of the Chapter.

The atmosphere at Festive Board was convivial and rounded off a most pleasant evening for us all.

Visitors to our Installation Convocation on Thursday 17th February 2022 will be made equally welcome.
