Chapter of Charity No. 1551

The chapter was Consecrated on Armistice Day November 11th. 1921 at the Masonic Hall, New Street Birmingham. There were 14 Founding Members all of whom were members of the Lodge of Charity No. 1551.

The Chapter moved to the new Masonic Memorial Temple in Broad St. Birmingham in November 1927 and after the closure of Clarendon Avenue now meets at the Yenton Masonic Assembly Rooms Gravelly Hill North, Erdington, Birmingham B23 6BJ

In 1971 the Chapter celebrated its Golden Jubilee and now the Chapter having met for 100 years we are looking forward to celebrating our Centenary and will do so as soon as we are able to meet once the Pandemic allows.

Our regular meetings are the Installation meeting on the 3rd Wednesday in September, the 1st. Wednesday in March and the 4th Wednesday in April

We are a small and friendly Chapter with a membership drawn from all around Birmingham and the West Midlands with links to several Craft Lodges and the wider family of Charity Lodges across the country, who meet as a family at least once a year.
