The Triple Tau. (Grand Emblem of Royal Arch Masonry)

Masonry, in general, has many things to offer those who participate in its beliefs and teachings. The teachings of the Craft, concerning our moral and social duties in a materialistic world, provide adequate guidelines for our behaviour towards our fellow man in this our mortal life.

The riddle of the universe however, and of our very being can only be fully understood within the teachings of the Royal Arch, although time and patience are required before the full meaning of what we do is brought home to us.

Whilst the changes in society have made it less easy to turn acquaintance into friendship, in our Royal Arch meetings you will find men who share common standards and beliefs. By embracing the many and varied duties with enthusiasm, we grow in self confidence, and develop our capacity to work for the common good at the same time deriving great enjoyment from our meetings.

Harmony and good humour prevail at the festive board, and a feeling of satisfaction at a ceremony performed to the best of our ability. However, your enjoyment of the Royal Arch will only be in proportion to your contribution to the happiness of your Companions.

Above all, the Royal Arch has a message. In addition to being happy and communicating happiness, it explores the deeper meaning of life itself thus providing a more intimate link with spiritual belief and our belief in eternity.

It implies the strongest of bonds, for a Companion was a man who could be relied on in times of danger and to whom you could entrust your life.
