Royal Arch Church Service – Sunday 13th March 2016

posted on 05 December 2015

The Rev. Canon Michael Wilson

This popular Provincial event will again be held at the Parish Church of St Peter, Coughton at 3.00pm on Sunday 13th March 2016.

The service will be led by The Rev. Canon Michael Wilson, who as well as being a Grand Chaplin of UGLE, having been invested in April 2015, is also the Third Provincial Grand Principal for the Province of Leics and Rutland. The date of the Church Service is also Passion Sunday and his theme therefore is “God who embraces suffering”. This will be the first occasion when he will lead our service and no doubt we will have a thought provoking and enjoyable address. The Provincial Choir led by E.Comp. Michael Irving will once again provide the usual high standard of choral music. All denominations will be warmly welcomed.

After the Service everyone is invited to the Kings Court Hotel for afternoon tea – sandwiches, cakes etc. at a cost of £8.00 per head. All Companions are encouraged to make an early booking for this special event which the Grand Superintendent hopes will be well supported, particularly by the Principals of the several Chapters in the Province.

Applications will be sent out shortly by the Provincial GSE and booking slips, which will be included as a Download when finalised, should be returned to the Asst Provincial Grand Scribe E.
