The President for the Festival, the Excellent Companion Robert J. Lovesley DL, the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent of the Holy Royal Arch Province of Bedfordshire, supported by his Provincial Second Grand Principal, E Comp Chris Hoad and no less than five Past Presidents who were either current or Past Grand Superintendents of other Provinces, was extremely complimentary in his remarks about the quality of the delivery of the ritual and offered warm congratulations and thanks to all the participants on a excellent performance. E.Comp. Lovesley, who is also a Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Bedfordshire, in response to his Toast at the Festive Board gave an entertaining account of his appointment as MEGS. He had greatly enjoyed the high standard of ritual and congratulated all who participated.
The Festival was as usual a demonstration of the Warwickshire working of the Ceremony of Exaltation, performed by Companions of the Province below the rank of Chapter Principal, all of whom are drawn from several different Chapters. In addition to the Ceremony of Exaltation members of the team delivered the Symbolical Lecture in exemplary fashion and E Comp Mark Philips demonstrated the new "The Janitors Card" ritual wording.
This was a splendid occasion which clearly showed there is tremendous talent amongst the Companions within the Province and the valuable benefit of the General Chapter of Instruction in encouraging high quality ceremony.
