Supreme Grand Chapter - a great day out is promised
posted on 31 July 2017
2017 has been a really important year for Freemasonry and you may already be aware that the First Grand Principal, HRH The Duke of Kent, celebrates his 50th year in Freemasonry later this year. As part of the celebrations it has been announced that there will be two additional appointments to Grand Rank for Warwickshire Royal Arch masons. The appointments and investitures will be made at the meeting of Supreme Grand Chapter on 8th November 2017.
The Most Excellent Grand Superintendent, Ex Comp Philip Hall, is particularly pleased about the announcement by Supreme Grand Chapter and will attend the convocation supported by his deputy, Ex Comp Philip Gough, the Second Provincial Grand Principal, Ex Comp John Emms and the Third Provincial Grand Principal, Ex Comp David Evans.
He has asked Ex Comp David to canvass the members of the Province for support at this event and Ex Comp David has reserved thirty seats on the train that leaves Birmingham International station at 9.00am on 8th November. The seats are in one coach only, so all those who take up the offer to travel to the event will travel together.
The cost of the second class return fare from International is £10.00, which is amazingly cheap!!!
The train will leave at 9.00am, as mentioned above with the return departing Euston at 16.13pm.
If you would like to support the Grand Superintendent, please e-mail David Evans with your request and a cheque for £10 made payable to JD Evans. The take up for this event , especially at this amazingly cheap price for the train ticket, will mean that the tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served, basis so please let David know your intention as soon as possible.
More details of the meeting and dining arrangements will be available in due course.
